In the summer of 2012, from the moment I wrote out the code `<?php` to the point where I was not even good engineer to create a service called "BASE". I have kept on believing when the small team became stronger by the Internet, the world would be better. I am confident that this will not change in the future.

We all started with a word from my mother who runs a retail store in Oita Prefecture said, "I want to make an online shop". Even though my mother wants to have her own shop on the Internet now, many people have their own shop on the Internet, have a payment function, and all that is still very difficult at this moment too. At that time, I realized that it was a privilege only for those who had great power to make it happen.

The first discovery since its founding is that even the smallest team in the world can become the greatest in the world. I have seen many shops and thought that it was the biggest benefits of the internet and technology.

In our business model, user success is critical key to our success. That is the relationship that we have cherished since our founding, and we are proud to continue to this day. At the same time, we hope to prove how amazing our users are with our achievements, therefore we will continue to make the great products and the future that BASE believes can come as soon as possible.
