The BASE Group contributes to the development of a sustainable society by respecting human rights in all facets of its business activities.

References and Scope

The BASE Group abides by international human rights standards, namely the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, Children’s Rights and Business Principles, and the eight fundamental principles in the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work. We strive not to be involved in discrimination or human rights violations in any of our services or business activities.

Emphasis on Diversity and Prohibition of Harassment and Discrimination

The goal of the BASE Group’s corporate activities is to create a society in which all people can play an active role by empowering individuals and small teams. As a company striving to create a society where everyone can flourish, we do not tolerate discrimination or harassment based on gender, age, nationality, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, gender expression, ethnicity, disability, etc. We ensure equal opportunities in hiring, evaluation, training, placement, salary increases, promotions, and appointments to executive positions. We also pay appropriate wages, adhering to regulations related to minimum wage, overtime pay, statutory benefits/deductions, and equal pay for equal work.

The BASE Group respects the exercise of fundamental labor rights, including the freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining. We abide by the laws and regulations of the countries and regions where we operate, striving for sound and harmonious labor-management relations based on international human rights principles.

The BASE Group is committed to the mental and physical well-being of its employees. We work to ensure a safe and healthy workplace environment, adhere to laws, regulations, and rules related to safety and hygiene, and address health risks appropriately.

The BASE Group respects and protects the rights to freedom of expression and privacy of all stakeholders. We strive to ensure that these rights are not violated and offer services that are fair, secure, and convenient to all users.

Initiatives and Systems for Respecting Human Rights

The BASE Group will regularly conduct training and other measures for its executives and employees to promote understanding and implementation of this policy. To prevent human rights violations, we will establish effective mechanisms, including setting up appropriate whistleblowing channels composed of outside lawyers and others professionals.
